I have been painting in acrylics for over 30 years but In the past 10 years I have begun to paint in oils and I have also discovered the medium of colored pencils. No matter what I use in my art, I find it exciting and think art helps us see things differently and in a way we may never have seen before.
It lets my creativity expand from my paint brush to all different surfaces.
I am a member of the Society of Decorative Painters, which is a worldwide organization for artists, and I have belonged to many painting chapters, locally and in other States. This past year I discovered ZOOM and have been able to take many classes in all fields of art, being taught by local artists to renowned artists. ZOOM meetings have opened a new artistic world for me, expanding my horizon.
On a personal note I have been married almost 49 years to Mike and we have 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 10 grandchildren. We have been blessed.
